Boldwer ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data collected through boldwer.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Contact and delivery details: name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address.
- Order details: products purchased, order history, returns and support messages.
- Payment information: processed securely by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type and how you use the site, collected through cookies.
Why we use it
- To process, ship and support your orders (performance of a contract).
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure (legitimate interests).
- To send marketing emails, only if you have opted in (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the store: Shopify (our e-commerce platform), our payment processors, our fulfilment partners and suppliers, and delivery carriers. We never sell your personal data.
International transfers
Our service providers and fulfilment partners may process your data outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes (normally six years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
